About Vätternrundan

Vätternrundan has rolled since 1966 and is the world’s biggest recreational bike ride. The start is an experience in itself: riders are released in waves all through the night from Motala, and dawn meets the field somewhere along Vättern’s eastern shore.

The ride is one of the four legs of the "Swedish Classic", and the feed stations are legendary: cinnamon buns, blueberry soup and lasagne in quantities measured in tonnes. The finish in Motala after 315 km keeps seasoned riders coming back decade after decade.
